About This Job
Welo Global is recruiting experienced English-to-Polish linguists for specialised translation work in the life sciences sector. The position is listed as remote and worldwide and is managed through Welo Global's official recruitment platform.
The role sits within Welo Life Sciences, a specialist language-services brand supporting pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations (CROs) and medical-device organisations. Its work includes translation and linguistic quality processes for regulated healthcare and pharmaceutical environments, where accuracy, consistency and adherence to technical requirements are essential.
This opportunity is particularly relevant to professional translators who have experience with clinical-trial documentation, pharmacovigilance materials and regulatory documents. It is not a general translation role: the employer specifically seeks people with practical experience translating medical and life-sciences content from English into Polish.
Welo Life Sciences provides specialised language and technology services for organisations operating in regulated global markets. Its work supports areas such as clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, product labelling and pharmaceutical commercialisation.
In these settings, translation is more than converting words from one language into another. Documents must preserve scientific meaning, terminology, context and consistency. Errors or unclear wording can affect how medical and regulatory information is understood, which is why the employer emphasises relevant subject-matter experience and quality review.
Key Responsibilities
1. Translate specialist documents
Translate clinical research, regulatory and pharmacovigilance documents from English into Polish. The employer identifies several document categories, including clinical-trial protocols and synopses, investigator brochures, informed-consent forms, patient information sheets and patient diaries.
2. Review machine-translated content
Carry out machine translation post-editing (MTPE) on machine-translated safety content. This involves checking the translated text, correcting inaccuracies and improving language quality while preserving the intended meaning of the original material.
3. Perform linguistic quality checks
Check the official website for the latest eligibility requirements, application instructions and deadlines.
