About This Scholarship
Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters provide international students with the opportunity to undertake advanced master's education through multinational university consortia. The programmes are supported through the European Union's Erasmus+ programme and are jointly designed and delivered by higher education institutions and other participating organisations from different countries.
For applicants interested in agriculture, food systems, environmental science, natural resources, rural development, climate change, sustainability and related areas, the Erasmus Mundus catalogue includes Joint Master programmes covering different aspects of these fields.
These programmes provide students with an opportunity to study in an international academic environment and, depending on the selected programme, move between different universities and countries during their studies. Students may undertake coursework, laboratory activities, field research, internships, research projects and master's thesis work at participating institutions.
The international structure also allows students to interact with academics, researchers and fellow students from different countries. This can provide exposure to different approaches to agricultural development, environmental management, food production, sustainability, natural resource management and related areas.
Students from around the world may apply to eligible Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters, provided they meet the academic, language and programme-specific admission requirements. Selected programmes offer Erasmus Mundus scholarships to successful applicants, although admission to a programme and selection for a scholarship are separate processes.
