About This Conference
The AOCPRM 2027 International Travel Grant supports international students, trainees and early-career professionals who want to present their research at the 10th Asia-Oceanian Conference of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine in Taipei.
The grant is intended for researchers and professionals who are actively contributing to the scientific programme rather than people seeking financial support simply to attend the conference. Applicants must have at least one abstract accepted for an oral presentation, making the quality of the proposed research presentation an important part of the application.
AOCPRM 2027 brings together professionals in physical and rehabilitation medicine and related areas, creating an opportunity for early-career researchers to present their work to an international audience and engage with researchers and clinicians from different countries.
What the Grant Covers
Successful International Travel Grant recipients receive:
- Full registration fee waiver for the main AOCPRM 2027 conference.
- Up to three nights of complimentary accommodation during the conference.
The accommodation support is provided for the main conference period. The grant does not cover pre-conference workshops or other additional conference fees.
The award does not include an international airfare allowance, so applicants travelling to Taiwan should make separate financial arrangements for flights, visa-related expenses, meals and other costs not specifically included in the grant.
Eligibility
Applicants must satisfy both of the following conditions:
- Be an international student or trainee, or an early-career professional aged 40 or younger.
- Be residing outside Taiwan.
Applicants must also have at least one abstract accepted for an oral presentation at AOCPRM 2027.
Foreign nationals who are currently residing in Taiwan are not eligible for this particular International Travel Grant.
Application Requirements
Applicants are required to submit the travel-grant application through the official AOCPRM 2027 Registration & Submission System.
The application requires:
- Curriculum vitae (CV).
- Recommendation letter from a mentor or supervisor.
- Copy of passport.
- Information relating to the accepted oral-presentation abstract.
Applicants should ensure that their abstract has been accepted before relying on this grant as a means of supporting their conference attendance.
How Selection Works
Applications are reviewed by the AOCPRM Review Committee.
